Saturday, 06 June 2009. My colleague, Aisah Grace, was leaving for Michigan USA for her offshore work assigment. She treat us to dinner at a Persian restaurant in Parkmall. Geez i forgot the name of the resto! Second time around in this resto… mmmnnn loved the paella so much.

Glad to be able to post these photos before Aisah comes back… Argh, now i’m hungry!

I was gonna edit and upload the photos i got from Aisah’s farewell dinner last month and photos from my visit to Ailyn’s house still from last month. But my attention was diverted to checking items online especially these Clarks shoes that i saw. I was just clicking and clicking from there and saw other some good buys. I already made a mantra not to buy anything starting July but seems like i’m even gonna start breaking it first day of July! How about that? Maybe Aisah will be back already before i can even post the photos. Anyways, i promise i’ll post those photos after i satisfy myself browsing online.

By the way, it’s July already - roughly 60 more days to go until my next trip to… sshh secret for now.

Saturday, 20 June 2009. Finally, me and some elementary classmates met! One classmate had been telling me that we should see each other. As always, everyone’s busy with their respective lives so we never get around to it despite the fact that most of us are still living in Cebu. Many confirmed they’d come but didn’t show up! Well…

Somehow, among them, i’m the one who took the road less travelled. If Florante came, then i’d have a comrade in the engineering field.

The five girls - we all live in the same baranggay, we got a lot of childhood memories as classmates. Our parents knew each other, each of our parents knew each one of us. Then i asked my mother if she could remember them? She said she cannot recall though she can recall the mothers, haha!

Where are the other classmates? I don’t know. Probably busy. Probably no longer around Cebu. But at least i saw some whom i think are the closest.

Now, before i transition to emo-mode, here, feast your eyes on the food. There’s the burito, pizza, mango shake (all time favorite), beer (whom Lowell and his gf-the official photograher, not shown in the pic above) consumed. We met at KublaiKhan in Ayala Terraces but transferred to Mooon Cafe later.

I’m a fan of late night tv shows and one of these shows is Trip Na Trip. It’s like a local tour guide show on TV. I like the hosts as they are funny and very engaging.

After Boracay and Palawan - the next place that i wanted to visit is Camsur (Camarines Sur), one of the places being shown on Trip na Trip. The place is not only famous for wakeboarding but it’s also where Camaroan Island is located. Survivor France was shoot in this picturesque island. Camsur also have other tourist attractions like beaches and falls. They have lots of resorts for tourists to stay that offers lot of options like wood cabins and huts, even rv parks are available. Really nice as seen on the TV. I really hope this current pandemic will be over soon - it’s more fun to travel without thinking of possibly getting flu anytime!

At some point, i’m glad i did not pursue commerce or arts and sciences courses. I discovered i’m not good in sales and marketing. I can’t persuade people to buy or order certain products. Moreover, i don’t have the patience to convince them and demonstrate. I appreciate those people who are into insurance marketing because making calls for me is a very tedious job. I hate receiving calls from anonymous callers selling products so i can just imagine if i’d be the one making the calls.

Oh yah that’s me in the picture. Who was i talking to? Nah can’t remember…

A colleague of mine is making belts and other knickknacks. I ordered a belt for my father (as my gift this coming father’s day). I got the belt today and i thought the belt looked small. I tried and i was dismayed to realize it fit me! I have the same waistline as my father?!? I was sure my father gave me his waistline correctly. Waahhh! This cannot be!!! I have to do something! I should read more about the liporexall reviews and see if it will work for me. I cannot believe this! Geez! Really? I have the same waistline as my father? My father must be wrong! Or am i really that big already?

It rained the whole time last weekend. It started on Friday and never stopped until yesterday. I was supposed to go to Ailyn’s house for some barbecue last Sunday night but didn’t make it. It’s raining pretty hard and i wasn’t feeling well. I was at home the entire weekend doing nothing but sleeping and watching movies. I’m currently addicted to Criminal Minds these days. The series The Unit has ended so i’m switching to another flick to watch. If i have audio racks then my viewing pleasure could have been nicer. I also need another basket for my cd’s. Hah! Too many things i wanted to buy but not too many dough to use! Hehe!

Now, though i look like the rightful owner of this lawn? Nah, just relaxing a bit and striking a pose. Taken last Saturday during our section outing in Cebu Marine Resort. More photos will be shared some time.

Hmmn, it’s not like we’re having icecream every Thursday but we had one yesterday. Everyone in the team is busy and had been really busy for the past weeks already. We received some good feedbacks from our offshore counterparts i thought it would be nice i’d treat them. Well, it’s all i can afford. But really, thank you guys for all your efforts. For putting up with the urgent deadlines and tight scheduling. For always trying your best in every tasks assigned. Kodus!

Waahh i should be at home and sleeping already or at least doing some beauty rituals by now. I should pass by the pharmacy before i get home and buy the best eye cream available. My peepers are really not pleasing as i’ve been sleeping late (way too late) the past days because of me watching Boys Over Flowers series. Our section beach party is tomorrow already and the service will leave at 9:00am, that means i have to wake up at 6:00am! Therefore, i should be sleeping already by this time but as always it’s not yet my sleeping time so good luck to me tomorrow! (eh later, my clock already says 12:46 past midnight) And i’m fervently praying that it won’t rain later! Gloomy ok but please don’t rain.
